What you can do

• Browse and search the full release — walk the classification tree or search by scientific name with filters for rank, status and group. Synonyms, vernacular names and authorships are a tap away, and Extended Release (XR) names are clearly marked.
• Rich taxon pages with full classification, original publication, synonyms, and an interactive sunburst of a taxon’s children.
• Linked GBIF data — occurrence maps, country statistics and image galleries where available, with attribution carried through.
• Switch between releases — the latest monthly Extended or Base release, or any annual release back to 2021.
• Release metrics, source datasets and favourites.

The app is free, contains no ads, and needs no account. An Android version is not currently planned.
