Distribution: European waters (ERMS scope); North West Atlantic; Belgian Exclusive Economic Zone; Kwintebank; Hinder Banks; Texel; Terschelling; Vlieland; Schouwen; Goesse Sas; Westerschelde; Kattendijke; Gulf of Maine; Gulf of Mexico

Reproduction: sexual and asexual; bryozoan colonies consist of replicated series of zooids, each budded asexually from a predecessor. The founding zooid metamorphoses from the sexually produced larva. Hermaphroditic.

Distribution: middle North Shore (from Sept- Iles to Cape Whittle, including the Mingan Islands); Prince Edward Island (from the northern tip of Miscou Island, N.B. to Cape Breton Island south of Cheticamp, including the Northumberland Strait and Georges Bay to the Canso Strait causeway)
