Distribution: Republic of South Africa (Transvaal, Oranje Free State, Natal, Swaziland). Terra typica: Südafrika (FITZINGER 1843 said only Afr. whereas Südafrika is written on the label in the jar of the holotype [BAUER et al. 1994])
